More than your Sun sign

An astrology birth chart is a picture of the sky for a particular time and place. Your Sun sign is one part of it. The Moon, other planets, the Rising sign, houses, and the relationships between planets add other symbols to explore.

Nyxlet pairs calculated chart data with an AI-written interpretation. You can use it as a language for reflecting on your habits, preferences, and contradictions. A chart does not establish facts about your personality, determine your future, or tell you who you must become.

What you need to get started

Start with your date of birth, birth time if you know it, and birthplace. Place and time matter because they affect the local sky, particularly the Rising sign and houses. Check those details before relying on a chart interpretation.

If you do not know your birth time, Nyxlet can provide a clearly marked reference chart. Treat time-sensitive parts as uncertain; a guessed time should not quietly become a fact. Some high-latitude locations also need an alternative house calculation, which the chart notes.

How Nyxlet reads the chart

The chart uses the tropical zodiac and normally Placidus houses. Planetary positions come from an ephemeris, and the interpretation draws on the positions and aspects in the calculated chart. The written reading is generated by AI, so an explanation can still be incomplete or mistaken.

Rather than trying to learn every symbol at once, begin with one theme. You might ask how your chart describes your approach to change, what contrasts show up between different placements, or which part you would like explained in everyday language.

Skye makes space for the quieter questions

Skye knows where the planets were when you were born and is less reliable about the location of the telescope cap. Our dreamy blue companion brings a gentle, curious tone to the experience. Meet Skye and the crew, or start with the chart and see what catches your attention.

If you are exploring a connection with someone else, the relationships guide explains how chart comparison differs from reading one person’s chart. If you are curious about a different tradition, BaZi explores Four Pillars and Five Elements.

Your chart is an invitation, not a diagnosis

Astrology here is for entertainment and self-reflection. An interpretation should not replace practical evidence, professional advice, or your knowledge of your own life. You are free to disagree with the reading.
